Applause

Proud Mama Moment:

At appropriate times (albeit without distinction between “good guys” and “bad guys”) during baseball & hockey games, Linnaea now claps without parental prompting.

I know it!! She going to decide on her own to be a Rangers fan – or maybe a Phoenix Coyotes fan! :)

I think not! She’ll be a Wingnut, just like her dear mother (Pater will tell you otherwise, but don’t be fooled)!

I don’t know, just last night she was having a wonderful time wearing her Blues hat. I think her red allegiance will be for the Cardinals, and her blue for the Blues.

Red allegiance? Blue hats? Are we talking sports or political allegiance?

Hope you had a great Halloween!

Just sports. It just happens that the colors of our respective hockey and baseball teams are red and blue. Red Wings (red, obviously) and Royals (blue) for Mater; and Blues (blue, obviously) and Cardinals (red) for me and Linnaea.

Halloween was fun, though we were left with tons of candy. There were lots of kids on our street, but they didn’t seem to make it down to our end of the block. Linnaea didn’t go out this year, but she went to a Halloween party last week instead, dressed as a polar bear cub. We might have a picture, but don’t expect it to ever get posted. Someday we’ll just have to dump all of our pictures, raw, into an online album and just post a link. I think that’s the only way we’ll ever get them up at this rate.
